MATTA Fair 2025 | Up to 40% Off Singapore Airlines

Singapore Airlines has officially launched its 2025 MATTA Fair promotion, which went live on 17 April and will run until 25 April. Travellers are encouraged to secure their seats early while availability lasts.
Notably, Singapore Airlines is offering attractive promotional fares to destinations in China and North Asia.

These fares represent excellent value, particularly when considering the airline’s renowned service and comfort standards.
As an example, a return flight from Kuala Lumpur to Seoul is priced at RM1,710 on Singapore Airlines. On the same dates, Malaysia Airlines is charging RM1,940.

Even if the fares were identical, Singapore Airlines would still be the clear choice given the disparity in service quality. With such a significant price advantage, the decision is straightforward.
There are also compelling offers to Europe. Refined Points identified several noteworthy business class fares to Paris in January 2026, with return flights starting as low as RM11,975.

For the same dates, Qatar Airways is pricing similar flights at approximately RM14,000, while Malaysia Airlines is offering them at RM15,780. Once again, the value proposition is hard to ignore.

Up to 40% Off with Maybank Cards?
Interestingly, Maybank has sent out an email on this exact promotion to holders of the Singapore Airlines American Express Platinum and Gold credit cards with the headline title of "40% Off Singapore Airlines Fares with Maybank credit cards".

It's worth noting that this is nothing more than a marketing gimmick, and you do not actually need a Singapore Airlines Krisflyer American Express Platinum credit card to take advantage of this promotion as demonstrated above.
What's perhaps even more hilarious is that Maybank's own designated link "maybank.my/mattafair" has absolutely zero mention of this promotion whatsoever.
Bottom line is, I'm not sure what Maybank is trying to do here, but it seems like a drastically failed communication effort. Nevertheless, you do indeed earn 1 MPR on all Singapore Airlines flights with the Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer American Express Platinum credit card.
