The Song Hong Premium Lounge at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi accepts Priority Pass, Loungekey and Dragonpass memberships, alongside other credit cards.
During my visit to the lounge, it was pretty much packed due to the peak travel season in December, but thankfully, we were able to find seating. It's worth noting that significant number of airlines flying out from Terminal 2 actually contracts the lounge for its premium passengers, so if you're unlucky, you'll be met with a significant crowd during your visit to the lounge. I was able to get more pictures of the lounge once a good number of guests left for their flights.
Dining Area
The lounge offers a typical buffet spread, with a variety of Asian options available.
Most of the offerings were generally decent, although I felt that the food was generally underseasoned or tasteless.
I would, however recommend the made-to-order pho that was available at one of the counters. I found that it was generally tasty and in standard with similar offerings at the city.
There is a variety of alcohol options available for those who prefer to start their party earlier in the day.
The lounge has wonderful natural lighting given the angled floor-to-ceiling windows. You'll be able to enjoy superb views of the tarmac as well.
The bathrooms at the lounge were generally clean and tidy.
Overall the lounge was up to par given the high standards of lounges across Asia. I do wish to mention that the staff were generally weak in terms of training received, and took long times to process entries into the lounge.
Also keep in mind that if your name on your boarding pass differs from the name written on your credit card or membership card, you will be denied access into the lounge. I was unfortunate to witness a heated argument between a guest that didn't have her Christian name on the boarding pass and was denied. Honestly, its a ridiculous regulation, as denying access to rightful passengers simply reduces revenue generation for the owner of the lounge.
